Most online games ask for a download, a launcher and an account before you see anything. WEEP WORLD loads in the tab you're reading this in. Press PLAY NOW and you're standing in the city.

One shared world

There's one city, and everyone's in it. You can see who's online, chat, and run into the same people again. Players leave Lanterns around the map, notes and small gifts that others find later.

Every forty-five minutes a raid boss turns up and the players online that moment take it on together.

Things to do

Sixteen maps to cross by car or plane. Jobs with their own minigames. Property and supply chains. A stock market. Police, jail and jailbreaks. Diving, fishing and hunting out past the city.

The players write the update list

Plenty of online games run polls on options the developer already picked. In WEEP WORLD the options come from the players. Walk into the People's Hall, propose an idea and vote on everyone else's. The top three ideas each week become that week's build queue. Each player gets three ideas and three votes a week, and the ballot closes Monday at midnight UTC.
